Learning Activity

In first grade we are learning about making inferences.

I made a learning board about how to make inferences.


After looking at this board and infering what happened in the pictures for extra practice we would read Pete the Cat and make inferences about what color his shoes would be.

We would then work on our retelling the story skills by making paper slides about the story. As a bonus the kids would be challenged to make Pete step in something else and they would tell me what color his shoes would become.
